Popular Apartments at 1970 N Green Bay Road

Posted by Patricia on Oct 18 2007 | Tagged as: Real Estate

Though originally built in 1965, the apartment on 1970 Green Bay Road in Highland Park has never lacked for residents. The building contains eight residences and could be called a vintage building. The units housed consist of four one bedroom and one bath apartments, two studio apartments and two apartments with two bedrooms and one bath each.

The location of this apartment building has probably had a lot to do with the steady level of occupancy over the years. Highland Park is known for the high quality of its schools, making these apartments attractive for anyone with children. Being not far from the downtown sector of town is also more than convenient for anyone who works there or simply for shaving time off of a shopping trip or just going to eat out. Finally, the apartments have easy access to the Metra for transportation elsewhere.

As far as upgrades and remodeling, the building roof was replaced just over twelve years ago and the boiler is less than two years old. That means plenty of hot water for showers, washing and heating. Several of the apartments have also undergone interior work and have many new details.

With a little effort you can uncover some great deals on older vintage apartments for rent or be sure to check out the listings of Chicago Illinois Condominiums for Sale if you’re looking to buy a new home.
