Spa Day Surprise: Take a Well Deserved Break

Posted by kelly on Mar 05 2007 | Tagged as: Services, Lifestyle

Do you work long hours and feel the stress of your daily work tensing in your muscles?  I can recall working 16 hour days and the worst part of the day was driving home, twisting and turning in my car, because my back was just killing me!

Often you’ll hear that all work and no play is not only stressful but bad for your health in general.  Every now and then what I’ve learned to do, actually just about every other weekend, is to take a day off and treat myself to a Spa Day.  A relaxing hot rock massage can do wonders for your mind and putting your body at ease in preparation for long hours at work.

Highland Park has a number of massage therapy specialists that can help reduce the tension of a hard days work.  If you look through Highland Park day spa listings you’re sure to find a location that is nearby where you can call in and a friendly receptionist on the other end will be ready to assist you.

So many people neglect just taking a break and treating themselves to a day of rest, however rest and relaxation are the keys to increased productivity at work.  Don’t you owe it to yourself to not only indulge in just a hour or two where there is only you and a hot rock massage?  If you want to be able to use those 16 hours at work effectively…I’d say you do!
